Day 8: What I Ate Today

I ate a sausage, egg Mc Muffine and hashbrown from McDonalds, a snickerdoodle cookie from the mall, and a chef salad from a local Italian spot my husband and I love.

Day 7: 5 Pet Peeves

1. Treating anyone at any position lesser than

2. Holier Than Thou mentality

3. Believing that your way is the only way

4. Taking the Bible out of context

5. Fat or skinny shaming

Day 6: My View On Mainstream Music

First off, I already feel like those old people I used to make fun of when I was younger who hated the music I listened to. Objectively, I can say now that yeah, the music I listened to when I was a kid was for the most part...crap. Some of it still stands the test of time but my views and tastes have definitely changed.

I think mainstream music caters to what is popular. Sometimes they are right behind the trends, sometimes they are right in line, and sometimes they create the trends. With so many avenues to listen to whatever kind of music you want, whenever you want, a lot has changed. I find new bands all the time just at the click of a button. I don't really listen to the radio for music anymore so I'm not "hip" as to what is cool but I do know what I like and not like but respect.

Mainstream music is just that- mainstream. Some fish like to swim with the crowd and others prefer swimming a little or a lot against that stream. Both are fine. It's a matter of personal taste.

Day 5: Things I'd want to say to an ex.

Well, I'm never one to want to speak to an ex again but if I HAD to... it would be. Find yourself, stop letting everyone else tell you who you are supposed to be, AND Jesus love you.

That about sums it up.
